Help Stop Hate - Report It!
It is important for members of our university community to report all acts of intolerance no matter how insignificant one might perceive an incident to be. Incidents such as name calling or graffiti can escalate into more serious incidents and perpetrators may feel comfortable continuing their behavior fostering a campus climate where bias and prejudice is tolerated.
Here are ways to report acts of intolerance: (1) if injured or if there is concern of immediate danger, call 911 or 9-911 from a campus phone; (2) send an e-mail to bart.illinois.edu; (3) submit an anonymous report online; or(4)contact the Office of the Dean of Students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at (217) 333-0050.
Help do your part in helping to stop hate.
