2021 DSO Holiday Party

2021 DSO Holiday Party Open House

December 11, 2021 1:00pm - 3:30pm

Leonhard Recreation Center, Champaign

The DSO Holiday Party for Children with disabilities is returning this year as an in-person event! The open house party is for all children with disabilities and their family, including members of the Down Syndrome Network, CU Autism Network, and CU Able. We are partnering with the AMBUCS, and CU Special Recreation to provide a fun-filled afternoon of make-it/take-it crafts, games, and activities for the whole family.

To participate in the DSO Holiday Party Open House, registration is required. Your childe must be registered by November 29, 2021 for children with a disability (of any age) and their siblings up to age 12 to receive a gift. If not registered by this date, we cannot guarantee a gift. Please keep gift suggestions to $20.00. Registration is limited to the first 300 children. Masks are required to be worn by all attendees.

In consideration of COVID mandates, we are also offering a drive-thru gift distribution immediately following the in-person event for those who are not comfortable attending in-person events. Participants who choose this option can come to the Leonhard Recreation Center from 3:30-4:30pm on the day of the party to receive their gift from Santa.

Santa will be wearing a mask and asks that you do, too!

All registration forms are due no later than November 29th, 2021. If we do not receive a form or we receive a form after the deadline, we cannot guarantee your child will receive a gift.
